Nepal, a South Asian country sandwiched between China and India, is a very small country in terms of the the total area.  For comparison, it is almost the size of the State of Iowa in United States. In terms of countries, it is 22 times smaller than India and 65 times smaller than china. It only covers 0.028% of the earth’s land. The population is about 30 million people.

Although Nepali is the major language spoken in Nepal,  there are a lot of other languages that are spoken in this diverse country of Nepal. You will be surprised to know that there are more than 116 languages spoken in Nepal, this is as per the report published by the central bureau of statistics in Nepal
